The Joker

The model for this painting was me dressed in a cloak, and wearing a black mask. This painting was done with playing cards in mind. To incorporate the tarot, which was the first form of the playing cards that we use today. This joker has the staff (which in todays cards represents "clubs") and the sword (which in todays cards represents "spades"). the other joker (she is fine) carries of course the goblet (hearts) and coin (diamonds).
