The Warrior
The Warrior ~ 4"x6" ~ Intaglio Print ~ 1999
A Warrior standing on the edge of life, shooting an arrow to the Sun God.This print was created first by finding textures for my composition. A nice doiley was used for the bottom part and leaves were used for the background. these objects were then etched into the plate using the aquatint method. The end result turned out great! There are 5 prints in this series.
